ENDURANCE CHAMPIONSHIP
Often used as practice for the sprint, the Endurance Championship features longer racing, typically 100 or 200 minutes, for teams of 2-4 drivers. A true test of consistency and team tactics! Solo drivers are permitted but do not score championship points.

Weight Limit
The team must weigh a total of 320kg between all 4 drivers, on the basis of a team of 2 or 3, the lightest drivers are multiplied to fill the team roster. Each team member must race for a minimum of 20 minutes to stop teams from keeping lighter drivers out for the entire race to gain an advantage. Example below:

Driver 1 - 70kg (must race for a minimum of 20 minutes)
Driver 2 - 80kg (must race for a minimum of 20 minutes)
Driver 3 - 80kg (must race for a minimum of 20 minutes)
Driver 4 - 90kg (must race for a minimum of 20 minutes)
Total - 320kg (70 + 80 + 80 + 90)

Driver 1 - 70kg (must race for a minimum of 20 minutes)
Driver 2 - 80kg (must race for a minimum of 20 minutes)
Driver 3 - 100kg (must race for a minimum of 20 minutes)
Driver 4 - No driver (driver 1 weight taken)
Total - 320kg (70 + 80 + 100 + 70)

Balance of Performance
Teams can opt for a driver line up below 320kg, in doing so, will incur a balance of performance penalty. This penalty will be added in the form of a time penalty depending on how far under the weight limit they fall. The penalty is added to the team's first pit stop. All drivers are weighed in before the racing begins to calculate the penalty. In qualifying, there is also a balance of performance.

Qualifying
The qualifying session is cut into 4 x 5 minute sessions where each driver is required to participate in (teams of 2 or 3 must send drivers out again, but not back-to-back). The qualifying is decided by all 4 fastest laps being added together to form an aggregate average time. Example below:

Session 1 - 51.760 / Session 2 - 52.110 / Session 3 - 51.650 / Session 4 - 51.340
Team Result - 51.715

Pit Stops
The teams must complete 3 mandatory pit stops (5 at the final). Each team will be held in the pits for 15 seconds to allow for driver changes. Pit stop 1 will be allocated by the events team with the Balance of Performance penalty being added to the 15 seconds. Teams are responsible to call in their drivers for the remaining pit stops and be ready at the pits to avoid losing additional time during the pit window. Penalties during the race can be applied during pit stops by the Race Director such as +5 seconds for speeding in the pit lane.
